June 2008

The third Lancashire High Flyers event of 2008 saw over 80 professionals from across the region attend the event at Stanley House Hotel, Blackburn. Along with a great opportunity to network and a 2 course meal, attendees were educated and enlightened by the expert opinions of business environmental guru, Anthony Day. Anthony took the usual idea of social and environmental corporate responsibility one step further and looked at other factors we need to be aware of to ensure our green initiatives help to protect the bottom line.

April 2008

The second Lancashire High Flyers event of 2008 saw over 80 professionals from across the region attend the event at Stanley House Hotel, Blackburn. Along with a great opportunity to network and a 2 course meal, attendees were treated to an entertaining and enlightening presentation from Clive Gott. Clive impressed with his genuine enthusiasm and he was not only side-splittingly funny but also provided some valuable life lessons as well. He’s forthright and tells people what they NEED to hear rather than what they'd LIKE to hear.

February 2008

In addition to learning new tricks on how to dramatically improve information retention and communicate messages effectively, the business audience had an opportunity to network and enjoy a delicious two-course meal.

September 2007

The September 2007 event was one of the most-interactive events we’ve staged with around 150 High Flyers gathering to learn all about Mind Mapping with help from the fantastically named Barry Mapp. Not only was there fine food and wine, there was lots of networking and one attendee was even lucky enough to walk away with a brand new Sony Viao laptop – courtesy of Sony!

The May 2007 event was an amazing success with High Flyers gathering to develop links with others, enjoying fine food and learning all about gaining more from the media. Award-winning former BBC TV reporter and producer Alistair Macdonald was on hand to offer a lively guide to getting your firm’s message across and making the most of media opportunities.

The March 2007 event featured the leading networking expert Sue Tonks. Sue led a lively session that helped High Flyers overcome their fears of networking and gave details of how to raise their profile by becoming a great business developer.
